As basketball came into season, the sophomores sold basketball schedule pencils. Nearing the end of basketball season, the stu- dents found the pencils with our school song im- 27 printed. With this information on the pencils, many students; knew when and where the foot- ball and basketball games were played, and the school spirit went up several notches when the students saw the pencils with the words of the school song.

During the hulf-time of the Annual Homecoming game, they traipsed up and down the football field before the befuddled eyes of the spectators. Their costumes were composed of tin cans, paiamas, high-top boots, umbrellas, vegetables, an abundant supply of lipstick, and other ornamental articles which happened to stray into the open minds of the 29 Sophomores, who were responsible for the event. Rex Wallace and R050 Ewing were chosen Mr. and Miss Freshman for the night. After the initiation, the Sophomores threw a party for the newcomers to the school. Refreshments on hand were soft drinks, popcorn, and, hot dogs. Although the campus was temporarily thrown into a turmoil, much fun was had by all.
