The l-li-Y organization of Loveland was founded in nineteen thirty-nine. This year the club continued its good work. The Hi-Y creed calls for a better Christian World in which we do unto others as we would have them do unto us. The Hi-Y works in conjunction with Y. M. C. A. and is a na- tional organization. This year's club was composed of nine members plus our three adult advisors. The meetings were both interesting and enter- taining. We are planning next year's club as a better and for a larger one. GIRL RESERVES The Girl Reserve club of our high school has been carrying out, to the best of its ability, the purpose of the international club. This purpose is To find and to give the best , the slogan is To face life squarely. We have carried out in our meetings the symbols of the club-the development of health, mind, and spirit. The meetings have been held every two weeks after school in the school building or at one of the girl's homes. The presiding of- ficers of these meetings are Marilyn Harsha, president: Loraine Gilmer, vice president: Luella Thieken, secretary: and lane Roberts, treasurer. HI-Y FIRST ROW: George Everhart, Paul York, Earl Bennington, Harvey l-lines, Mr. Roth, Frank Everhart, Dallas Burton, Walter McLean. STANDING: Mr. Banta, Arnold Wil- liams, George Bauer, Mr. Steele.
