Emotions Characterize First Da From Bottomg Kim Nunn, Cindy Thomson, and Starla Engclharte learn the ups and downs of office work. Excitement, apprehension, fear, and apathy. It all came together on the first day of school. The year began as many first days, consisting of sophomores searching for unknown destinations, and seniors feeling superior because they were finally at the top. On August 28 it seemed chaos reigned. Unorganized locker checkout left many students without a locker, and over 140 unexpected new students left the administration swamped. Despite the confusion, most sophomores arrived at their assigned classes without much mishap. Although there will always be first days, they'll never change. The thrill, monotony, and anxiety that characterizes the first day of school will forever be. rsss ' siwt ' 'is fir. Outside activities involve many of Loveland's students. These involvements usually require many extra hours and a great deal of patience and work. Like most things these clubs and activities were usually started with one lone individual's idea of fun, excitement, or need and they have now blossomed into a way of life at L.H.S. The 1979 Chieftain is pleased to present the activities of Loveland High School students.
