Henrietta the Eighth Q , 1, from Ray lEldon Crauberger' is Henrietta lMary Waltcrl. 4 Here is Lizzie lDcrothy Barker! being chased with a paint brush by Wilma lLois , Bishopl. Henrietta the Eighth presented by the Class of '59 was one of the most entertaining and unusual put on for some time. Directed by Miss Gertrude Scott, and assisted by student teacher, Mrs. Ciail Vorrieter, the comedy broke all attendance records. The story of a scciety woman, her family, rivals, and secretaries, is told in this play. The secretary, dubbed Henrietta the Eighth by Wilma and Carol, two spoiled daughters, helped to prevent a family crisis while gathering material for her popular novel. Mrs. Mason, a schem- ing political rival, was finally beaten by Claire Sutton for a city appointment, and thus the play ended on a happy note. The capable back stage people helped make the story of a society family, their maids. boy friends, political rivals, and problems one to be long remembered by the large crowd that attended. i ,- . 9 ,V ' S T , 1' The cast consisted of, standing, left to right: Norman Woods, Mary Aikin, Harold l-lixon, Iudy May, Dale Fogleman, Mary Linn Scott.
