Carrying' on the traditionally line work of the Student Council, this year's student governing' board contributed several worthwhile featurcs t.o thc yearly program. To start the school term oil, an all student picnic and dancc was hold at Lake- side Park to highlight get-acquainted week. Next the Student Council conceived and incubated the idca for a homecoming day. That the hatching was a complete success can be determined by referring to pages lo and 11. Not to be outdone by schools observing 'tSadic' Hawkins day, l,. H. S. was sub- jected to a Twirp Season. During this week, November 231-Ill, the girls dated up the boys and delved into their own billfolds for the expenses. In addition to the above, the student council planned a program of assemblies and took charge of ticket sales for the t'National Assemblies Program.
