R.I.P. -..ggi The Late Reverend Mother Mary Felicia was the first Mother General when the Com- munity of the Sisters of St. loseph was organ- ized in 1901, and held the office for six years. In 1918 she was again elected Mother Gen- eral and held the office for two terms. During this period she founded the St. loseph Acad- emy in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and built a convent in Cleveland, Ohio, giving oriqin to the eastern province of the Community. ln 1928 she became Mother Assistant to the Mother General. ln 1940 she was elected Mother General of the Community for the third time and served in that capacity until February 22, 1942, when she died.
