The Senior Class Of Lourdes Central High Nebraska City, Nebr. Presents The Lourdette 1964 Many varied themes fill our daily lives. We, the Lourdette Staff wish to use for our theme - Growth. Lourdes Central has lovingly folded us in her arms and gave us that true Catholic Philosophy - Growth of the total human being. We feel that in the strong embrace of the faculty of Lourdes Central we have grown, spiritually, intel- lectually, physically, emotionally, culturally and socially. The growth that we have received gives us an understanding and love of life that is essential as we leave the portals of our Alma Mater. We wish to express our sincere appreciation to Sister Victoria, our advisor, and to the entire faculty and student body for the wonderful cooperation given us. It is our pleasure to present this book to you; and to Our Lady, who by unlocking the spiritual treasures of her Son, has contributed everything to our spiritual growth. To her, we dedicate this yearbook. The Lourdette Staff ADMINISTRATION FATHER JAMES DAWSON Superintendent of Schools Proper Development Growth LYNDON B. JOHNSON President of U. S, A. BISHOP JAMES V. Class Flower—Red Carnation. Dear Seniors: It was a joy to see you growing into young manhood and womanhood. Yet, the work is not complete. You still have the superstruc- ture of your future lives to build upon the Christian foundations and principles offered in your Church and school. The bricks of virtue cemented with Christ-like love and hardened by vigorous exercises of duties in school should now be a firm founda- tion for your perfect development into Christian adults. Inorder to bring about this final mature beauty of a Christian life, always remember God's words: Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.
