X Honor Girls Advisor: Miss Ulicny The purpose of the Honor Girls is to encourage girls to make the most of their intelligence and personality. The Honor Girls are Girl Reserves with high standards of character, personality, leadership, service, and schol- arship. A War Bulletin Board on the third floor was sponsored by the girls. The purpose of this bulletin was to make the students of Louisville High more war-minded. They also sponsored the Stocking Campaign at Louisville High. A box was placed on the First floor and the stockings which were put in it were sent to the U. S. Headquarters at Columbus. The Honor Girls were also custodians of the teacher's lounge. Louisville ' triumphed 35-23. V Playing the Canton Twp. Wildcats on their own floor in an over-time thriller, the - Raiders lost 45-39. With their record standing one-all the Raiders beat East Canton 30-21. The ex-graduates were home and they too bowed in defeat to our boys, 36-31. E Traveling to North Canton the Raiders were beaten by a tough Viking squad, 47-32. The Raiders didn't get going until the second half in this game and so lost to Sebring, 32-25. Lehman proved to be too much class and trounced us 44-29. Louisville then played Canton-St. Johns on the Crusaders own Hoor and bowed in defeat 39-13.
