PRODUCER Better than any other medium, drama interprets life. The production you are about to witness is the culmination ot a twelve act play on the stage of the Louisville Public School. As act after act of this iinal drama unfolds before you, displaying the progress and achievement of the past year, YOU, now of the audience, will reminisce in the Mirrer's reflections. As the velvet curtains slow- ly draw to a close. you will he made to realize that four of the allotted three score and ten years have passed. These are perhaps the only years in whicl1 you are on the inside looking out, as did Scrooge, at the past, pres- ent. and the world that is to come. However, your roles as actors do not end here. XVIIEII you leave this practice stage and advance to the legitimate one ot lite, you will tind that the world, in the words of Frances Cushman, is peopled with living beings and that is the grand divine eternal Drama. -R. It has been my duty to inform the students, why, when, and where they are to enter the many scenes and acts during: this gigantic production. This is not an easy task because of students who do not wish to co- operate. parents' attitude, industrial opportunities, Dan Cupid. and irregular attendance, but. by diligent hard work we were able to overcome these obstacles and to train new characters to take the place of those on whom we could not depend.
