CLASS HISTORY On September 7, 1936, 22 little children trudged up the long hill to begin their formal education. Our first teacher was Miss Rocken- book, now Mrs. Reichart. Continuous spankings prepared us for our second year of schooling. After our second teacher, Miss Dunlap, who tried her best to tame us, she finally passedus on to the third grade. The highlight of our second grade wasa Valentine Party with the first and third grade. At the end of our second year we parted company to be divided between Miss Dunlap and Miss Doris Parsell for our third gear, In thezfourth year we were again under Doris farsell, Now Mrs. rvin Albert. With hard lessons and the guiding hand of Miss Parsons directed us blindly through the fifth grade. In the sixth grade our little group was again divided. Some remained with Mrs. Koop and the other struggled through more hygeine and geography only to be stumped by more the following year in the eighth grade. With Miss Bishop we had one of the happiest years of grade school. Hikes and parties were the order of the year. Also, the great event of that year, no minor detail you understand, was Grade School graduation. - On entering High School we gathered a few new students, D. Neu ann, D. Wendt,V.
