These were too weighty thoughts for yet so small a mind Failing to find immedlate satisfaction in his searching he turned from his pursuit of truth The world was too close and real Gradually his former thoughts were pushed from his mind and the excitement of the vivid actual and present life filled the place they had once occupied Another victim to satiate a hungry world mr lXlILLER Class Twelve The silver breath of Autumn on the grass One golden leaf another and a third The smell of cool crisp air and crackling fire And in the sky a southward winging bird T1 all at once the glory breaks and though Her reign IS but a fleeting transient span The torch she flaunts IS glorious to behold And leaves its imprint on the soul of man lu- jirnms Qliss Elucn 59 , Q ' T . - , 1 ' , 7 I - T . .
