RUSSELL Forest Protection B.A.--Louisiana Polytechnic Institute M.F.--Louisiana State University After graduating from Louisiana Tech where he was a charter member of Sigma Tau Delta and active in intercollegiate athletics, Mr. Russell had a variety of experience, including several phases of construction work, pulpwood production, soil and water conserva- tion, and teaching at the high school level. At this point he resumed his studies and after finishing at L.S.U., worked for a short while for the Forest Service in a C.C.C. Camp. Mr. Russel1's next service was with the Soil Conservation Service in Louisiana and then with the Army where he served most of his tour with the Corps of Engineers.
