I HRI TMAS PARTY As the Christmas holiday neared. time for relaxation and renewal was soon to come to the students and staff of LSLIMC. One of the highlights of the season was the Annual Christmas Party. All that glit- tered and glowed filled the Civic Center as we enloyed music by Topcats . THE ICE STORM Students are always looking for a reason to miss or skip school and in February of l988, the students received their wish. One dreary night, rain began to drizzle down as the temperatures slowly dipped below freezing. The blanket of rain on the streets froze into a blanket of ice. Snow began to fall - the first in years, - and thoughts were turned from BIOCHEMIS- TRY, ANATOMY, AND PATHOLOGY to snowmen, fireplaces, and hot chocolate. Although classes were not canceled, few students were able to get to school be- cause of the hazardous driving condi- tions. The frozen weather brought a warm sigh of relief to the student body.
