Confidence and guts may get you through difficult circumstances, but be wary of letting your ego lead you astray. After seeing how subtle differ- ences in dosage or variations in treatment can hasten the end ofa lite, your image ot your power becomes an horrific one. The ultimate futility is seen in terminal pain and freak accidents outside of human control or any metaphysical reason. With each loss you witness, another spark of innocence is lost to oblivion.
