Student Government Association SGA Represents Student Body Plans Apartment Guide The Student Government Association has been on campus for nearly a decade. It was founded in 1970 in order to aid and represent a growing student body It is structured so aH students are represented in that there are senators elected from each college as well as senators-at-large. The purpose of the SGA is to provide programs and services to the students and to protect their rights. The most important role the SGA has is its voice in student affairs. Problems concerning student welfare can be brought to the attention of the administration through the SGA. Projects under SGA consideration are an apartment guide, a faculty information guide and an academic appeals board. 20 • ORGANIZATIONS
