MR. AND MISS LSU-S Elected as this year's Mr. and Miss LSU-S are David Towns and Marilyn Kolonko. Mr. Towns and Miss Kolonko were elected by |K pular nomination and voting by the student body. David Towns is a senior | olitical science major. He currently serves as the associate director of intramural sports and is a member of the Kappa Alpha Order. He has served as an SGA senator in his sophomore and junior years. David’s other activities include the LSU-S Law Society, in which he served as historian, vice-president, and president. He has also held the position of chairman of the Intci-organizational Council. He was voted one of the outstanding students at LSU-S for the 1973-74 school year. Marilyn Kolonko is a senior elementary education major. She currently serves as Bagatelle editor, state corresponding secretary for the Student Louisiana Teacher’s Association, and a Delta Sigma Phi Little Sister. She is a member of the Sigma Alpha Upsilon Players and has held the | ositions of secretary and treasurer for the organization. She was a 1973-74 LSU-S beauty and the 1974-75 runner-up for Miss LSU-S. She has also served as the student education representative for the Special Academic Affairs Committee.
