To enable closer cooperafion wifh fhe Univer- sify in ifs work, fhe Board of Supervisors had organized ifself info four commiffees-execufive, faculfy and sfudies, finance, and building and grounds. Academically, plans had been inifiafed for a survey of fhe Universify which was subsequenfly conducfed and af fhe fime of wrifing was nearing complefion. Four new buildings, providing addifional facilifies for sfu- denfs fhis year, were Himes Hall, housing fhe College of Commerce and honoring in ifs name fhe lafe R. L.
