On May 19, 1984, Louisiana School held its first junior prom. The theme of the prom was Puttin' on the Ritz. The ballroom was decorated with streamers, balloons, and stars to set the mood for a night of glamour, dancing, and entertain- ment. The main entertainment was the band, Isosceles Popsi- cles. Champagne glasses and garters were given as favors. There was even a garter ceremony. Couples dancing under the stars. uf' julie Kelso trying to pin a boutonniere on Scott West. H if 3 2. Ring Ceremony The Louisiana School's first ring ceremony held May 19, was a very exciting occassion. In coordination with josten's Ring Company, Louisi- ana School students created the de- sign for their rings. After receiving their rings, students circulated around the room turning each others rings. The rings were turned eighty- five times symbolizing the gradu- ation year of the Louisiana school's first Senior Class.
