nnavmil ji 1 1j ■ ■ To the Students of Louisiana Tech: Another year has rolled around. Our enrollment has increas¬ ed and our friends are more numerous. Your deportment, in spite of the crowded conditions, continues fine. My hope is that when our building and campus program is completed you will enjoy your stay and work even more. Those of you who were Freshmen with me in the fall of ’36 will soon be leaving the campus to take up your respective profes¬ sions. I hope that when you graduate in June our close friendship will be an example for those who have come into the college since that time, and also to those who will come later. Let us not for¬ get that colleges are measured by the type of citizens that it makes. The former editors of the Lagniappe have set high standards for us. I shall expect this one for 1940 to be the best. Sincerely,
”
