Willie F. Knight his wife, and two children, Sherry and Mark, came to Arcadia, Louisiana on March 5, l968, to begin the mission effort here. There is now a membership of thirty-two. R. Hayes of Monroe, Louisiana, was recorded. May 5, l969, saw the beginning of construction on a new church plant. The above picture shows Bro. R.P. Miller of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Minden, who is supervising the construction of this building, and Bro. Willie Knight hard at work.
