Mr. Luis Esquivel teaches English II A, Spanish I, and Spanish II. He has taught at L.H.S. for two years. He attended Southwest Missouri University, U.M.S.L., and St. Louis University, and holds B.S. and M.A. degrees. He is also a junior class sponsor this year. Mr. Larry Keithley attended Northeast Missouri State University, where he received his B.S. and M.A. in Industrial Arts. He teaches drafting and general wood. This is his first year at L.H.S., and his 20th year in teaching. Teaching at L.H.S. for eight years is Mr. Mitch Mahabir. Mr. Mahabir attended the School of the Ozarks and the University of Missouri. He holds his B.S. and M.A. degrees. He sponsors FFA and is also a junior class sponsor this year. 14

Mrs. Sally Keithley has been teaching at L.H.S. for 18 years. She teaches math and French. She attended UMC where she earned an A.B. degree in mathematics. Mrs. Keithley sponsors the sophomore class and the French Club. At right, Mrs. Gay is shown working very hard. L.H.S. math teacher Barbara Gay attended the University of Illinois. She teaches consumer math, geometry, and Algebra I. She has taught at L.H.S. for seven years. Mrs. Gay is also a sophomore class sponsor. Barbara G. Duffee teaches functional math and pre-algebra at L.H.S. She has taught here for two years., and a total of four years. Miss Duffee attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where she received her B.S. in education. 13

Mrs. Jane Henry teaches general Business, English II, and shorthand. She attended Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. Mrs. Henry has her B.S. and M.A. in education. She has taught at L.H.S. for 26 years. Holding a B.S. in English education and a M.A. in Speech is Mrs. Priscilla Giltner. She attended Murray State University in Murray Ky. Mrs. Giltner teaches English IV, speech and drama, and English I. She is also the sponsor of FTA and NHS. Teaching for her first year at L.H.S. is Mrs. Joy Cleaver. She teaches English III and communications. Mrs. Cleaver attended William Jewell College, in Liberty; and NMSU. She has her B.A. and M.A. degrees in English education. Mrs. Cleaver has taught for a total of ten years. 15
