Mrs. Anita St. Pierre is the special services teacher, and serves as the assistant coach of the girls’ basketball team. Mrs. St. Pierre attended Lindenwood College and the University of Illinois, and has B.S. and M.S. Degrees. She has taught at L.H.S. for five years. This is Mrs. Virgina Reid’s first year at L.H.S. She teaches special services and is a freshman class sponsor. Her B.S.E. and M.A. degrees are both from NMSU. She has been teaching for 18 years. Mrs. Ruth Wood has taught at L.H.S. for three years as a teacher’s assistant, working in the Special Education dept. Mrs. Wood attended Central Missouri State and holds a B.S. in Education. 10

Mr. Dale Miller teaches Introduction to Biology, Introduction to Computers, and Intermediate science. This is Mr. Miller’s first year at L.H.S. He attended Michigan State University, where he received a B.S. degree. He earned an M.A. degree from Wayne State University. Mr. David Hunter has taught at L.H.S. for 24 years. He teaches physical science, biology, chemistry, and physics. Mr. Hunter attended MU where he received his B.S. degree and he also attended NMSU where he received his M.A. degree. Mr. A1 Matzes teaches life science, and is also the boys’ basketball coach. This is his first year at L.H.S. He earned a B.S. degree from Missouri Western State College. He has been teaching for 10 years. 9

Mrs. Judy Green is the high school librarian. She is also a senior class sponsor. Mrs. Green attended the University of Nebraska and Emporia State University. She received her B.A. in English and M.A. in Library Science. Mrs. Green has taught at L.H.S. for four years, and a total of seven years. Miss Delores Davis has spent 21 years in the district as a school teacher. She teaches English I A and English I B. Miss Davis attended NMSU at Kirksville, where she received her B.S. and M.A. degrees. Mrs. Imogene Behringer has taught at L.H.S. for 13 years. She attended Drury College, UMSL, Culver-Stockton, and is now attending UMC. Mrs. Behringer teaches Accounting I, Accounting II, and typing this year at L.H.S. 11 Mrs. Behringer is caught eating during food class.
