The cheerleaders and football players build a pyramid. At LHS, pep assemblies are looked forward to in many different ways. For some students, pep assemblies give them a chance to scream and yell without getting into trouble. For others, pep assemblies are a way to get out of class. For what ever reason, it is plain to see that pep assemblies are enjoyed by everyone. This past year, the school spirit was at an all time high. During Homecoming week the gym walls were covered with posters. The pom pon girls performed exciting dances and the cheerleaders demonstrated breathtaking pyramids. Even the football guys tried to get in on a little action. Seniors take 1st place in the Homecoming decorations. They are also convinced they're number 1. 1984-85 Varsity cheerleading squad; front-Tami Garrett, Second row-Susan Robbins, Shelly Brown, Susan Werbach, Bronwyn Jamison, Marta Myers, Deanna Garrett, Julie Schamback and Margaret Fry.
