The Tension? Finally, Commencement Now You’re . . . Graduates I will take on the toughest jobs; I'll go wherever I please, whenever; I know no bounds, for nothing can stop me now, nothing whatsoever; so if death parts me first, remember, I ain't given up, not yet; I'll have you know that even the dark won't stop me, not now; I have yet to tackle the toughest jobs; I have yet to go wherever I please, whenever. The sounds of lingering memory, enchantment. Time passes ... years roll silently by. The past is not forgotten. Hearken ... the sound of the fifties. Can you feel it? Can you understand it? Can you live it ... for a week? LHS did in '75. ( 64 Courtwarming . . . We Remembered Amid thunderous applause, the cast of the Senior Play took a few well-deserved bows. That moment marked the end of an enjoyable evening. As we left the gym, we all shared a silent regret because Essie Carmichael and Martin Vanderhoff had left our lives. On the other hand, we were a little happier for having known them. 68 69 MMM 73 Student Council T. Duncan, D. Scobee, J. Ludwig, J. Denney, B. Agler, B. Griffith, B. Fountain, B. Blackmore, S. Mr. Neighbors now teaches in Hermann, Missouri, while the magazine he brought into being has flourished. This year's edition was perhaps the best so far. Primarily responsible for collecting, selecting and editing material and putting the magazine together were Rhonda Mallinckrodt, Darrel Akers, Trina Ford and Bobby Fritz... with a lot of help from their friends. 90 Language Club STANDING: K. Congratulations, Class of’75 The Alamo Staff 147 148 309 Georgia Louisiana, Missouri 754-6233 BEST REXALL DRUGS 149 151 Class of'75 To a class I first knew in '71. Thru picture cube sales and homecoming's run; With a class very enthused, enlightened and bright. Who worked together with a gusto that was sheer delight. To a class I then knew in '72. Who saw me every day as I they better knew; As they better understood some of life's mystery Thru our exploration of world history. To a class I saw little of in '73. Except during ballgames when they saw too much of me; Because of the year's pressure, struggle and strain I'm sure at times I was no joy to be around Before, during or after a game. The class had its trouble, its friction and pain. However, by producing a fabulous prom the class did regain The spirit of '75. This year saw us less in contact than before, Our activities dwindled as never before; But what we did was well done. And Sadie Hawkins in particular was lots of fun. I close now in saying Thank you one and all For your help and cooperation, no matter how small. You have been my first complete class And one which others will not easily surpass. Good luck and good fortune, '75; It comes from the heart, and that's no jive!!! Dallas Krumm A 6 1 Ellen Morrow upon her retirement after twenty-five years in the Louisiana R-ll School System, the best wishes of the students and faculty of Louisiana High School. 157 You’ve Come A Long Way, Baby 159 esrgoB«gg
