We elected Peter Donath, president; Helen Halliburton, vice-president; Darlene Pollard, secretary-treasurer; and Opal Armbruster, student council representative. Mr. Fred Rynearson and Mr. Wirt Fowler were our technical advisors and gave us much guidance in our rise to understudies. Our glamorous and popular member, Helen Halliburton, had the honor of being our freshman attendant to the 1948 Homecoming Queen. She was also freshman attendant to the Bamwarming Queen. As the supporting cast, we were very active in football, basketball, pep squad, band, and glee Club. • We returned in the fall of 1949 as the fifty-four understudies in that year's production. We elected Eddie Holliday, president; Myron Griffith, vice-president; Joyce May, secretary-treasurer; and Darlene Pollard, student council representative, to guide us through our year. Our technical advisors this year were Mr. William Ellis and Mrs. H. R. Bums, Jr. This was the year when we were Quint City Conference Champs and twelve of our boys helped us win that title.
