Through your encouragement, consideration, and understanding, we, the senior class, shall meet the future with honesty, sportsmanship, capability, and enthusiasm. Never shall we forget the great times we have shared together, the ready humor with which you met every situation, and the terrific boost you gave our spirit whether we won or lost our games. In dedicating our yearbook to you, we want to say, Thank you. Coach and Mrs. Stognerl The Class of '58 Sponsor MISS RUTH STOCKTON Sponsor MRS. You have heard many times, of late, that we are entering a new era which will bring about changes greater, perhaps, than the Industrial Revolution, and that we are on the threshold of the greatest civiliza- tion known to man. These concepts may possibly come true. You may play an important part in bring- ing about this great achievement for the betterment of mankind everywhere, if you are willing to apply your energy wholeheartedly toward obtaining a com- plete education, and if the moral and spiritual values, which made our nation great, are placed first in your life. My greatest desire is to see each of you rise above the complacency of mediocrity - that you set high standards for yourself in your mental, physical, moral and spiritual development. Your well-being, the safety of our nation, and even civilization may de- pend on these factors. Sincerely yours, 7- 'U tcifceiC ' 'TPte u The success of an individual is not de- pendent upon his wealth in terms of money, but it is the self-satisfaction an individual attains with the knowledge that others need and appreciate him. This is attained with the understood use of the gifts that came with life - that is - the ability to think, lis- ten, speak, and do. This annual reflects die fine capabilities of the annual staff and members of the 1958 senior class. May this book bring back many pleasant memories in the years to come. Sincerely, John N.
