The lovely queen was La Vergne Bartee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bartee. The king was Johnnie Peterson, sou of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Peterson. The child in the picture is Gwendolyn Pray tor whose, father, Larue Praytor, was at that time super- intendent of Louise School. He is the uncle of Miss Jewel Hightower.
