To the Seniors and students of Louise High School: I am going to take this opportunity to tell you that I like you. I am also going to tell you why I do. I like you because you are friendly—I came to you, a stranger, and you took me into your house. I like you because you are cheerful—I see your smiles every day. I like you because of your spirit—you are deter- mined in what you do. I like you because of your sportsmanship—you have had your share of losses and disappointments, still you can laugh. I like you for your honesty and truthfulness- I know about these; I have found them more often than their opposites. I like you because you are able to work together— you have done swell jobs when many have helped. I like you because you are ambitious—you are eager in all that you do. I like you because you are willing to challenge— I know that you can fight for those things that are dear to you. I like you because you are anxious to live and be happy—your twinkling eyes prove this to me. I like you for many reasons—mentioning last that I think you like me.
