Sophomores meet new responsibilities The Class of 1971, full of joy at no longer being considered the “babies” of high school, began their sophomore year with the usual eagerness. Showing their individual talents, sophomores par- ticipated in LHS sports and many other activities. They found themselves faced with more difficult school- work, but overcame that obstacle with ease. As the year progressed, the sophomores found themselves growing older and wiser. As the year closes, the sophomores can look back on this rewarding high school year with the assurance that it was one of the best. 44
