. . . Louisburg Colleye The newest addition to the campus is the Auditorium- Classrooms Biiildinu;. purcluised in June. 1961. Its re- novation made it a pleasant place to learn. In progress is the construction ot the new men ' s dorm- itory beside die FrankHn l)iiildin ;. Belore long it will be completed— another step in the growdiofl.ouisburgCoUege. All oi these buildings compose the Louisburg College that the class ol 1962 knows, with one exception— die campus of oaks. Those tall, old oaks are laden with snow in the winter and wiili green leaves in the summer. Whichever the case, il is to man) ' the most bcautilul campus in the world. The purity of the snow enchants thetrees, but spring brings vivid greens that stir the spirit. The drab brown of fallen lea es is ne er depressing, and the brown is preceded by gay reds and yellows. Who has not seen the squirrels chasing about in the spring or diligendy storing nuts for the winter: ' Who has not heard the changing of songs as birds move in where others have moved out? (]ould Nature be more real any- where else? fai-ESI SWMfauulIMM ... Louisburg College ... May italwaysbeas stalwart and inspirational as the graceful oaks that surround it! May its memory always be held in the warmest part of our hearts! May it continue to be an inspiration and guide! This year is drawing to a close, and our hearts ache at the thought of leaving our Louisburg.
