Though our work outside of class determines to a large extent our degree of success, our work in class plays a vital part in the proce ss of learning.

Study- ing is a vital part of education, for it is only by studying the works of knowl- edge of generations that we can appre- ciate, interpret and apply this knowledge to our own experiences.
