nop ec? Here it is ten years since the time the Class of '54 put dear ole L. H. S. in lts past. That class surely has had some varied experiences. What's happened to them? Well, Joy Adams is head nurse at St. Mary's Hospital now. Arlie Adams has just bought a mansion to inspire him to write more songs. Sl'18.1'O1'1 Biuups 15 head technician at one of the hospitals here. Billy Bradley was voted Mr. Hus- band of 1964. Phyllis Blackburn is busy taking care of her six kids. Louis Co- burn has a wonderful big art school in addition to his electronics factory. Frances Border is owner of Border's Truck Stop. Kathleen Burgess has just returned from Africa where she is doing missionary work. We saw Betty Clevenger going down the street with her husband and children. Mary Cooper has been appointed I1eW science teacher at L. H, S. Dorothy Cordle was made the 4-H Club leader Of the state. Cecil and Roger Daniels are owners of the Daniels strawberry farm. Joan Hudson has a set of twins. Douglas Daniels is owner of the Daniels chicken farm. John McNabb and Kenneth Osborn are now coaches at Blaine. Delores Hall and Reba Wright are models for a clothing firm in New York. Wallace EWe1'S is HOW married and living at Blaine. The Garden Theatre has a new manager, Alice Hitchcock. Marlene Holbrook has returned only recently from her trip to Mars with her husband and children. Bill Hay is the world's champion fiddler. Edward Hughes and Bobby Robinette are owners of the Pinson Transit Company. Mary Beck is a prominent lawyer and Frances Miller is her secretary. Mary Adkins is now working for the Bureau of Internal Revenue, with assistance from Loretta Adams. Hassell Hunnicutt and Edward Lambert are owners of the Dry Fork Coal Company. Mildred Bentley is a secretary for Claudia Damron who is running the General Store. Joan Griffith is now married and living at Charley. Charley Lyons is a coal miner at Logan, W. Va. Ernest McGuire has passed his bar exam. Jo Anne Johns was voted Mrs. America of 1964. Dean Murray, Jack Ward and Kermit Short won the Nobel Prize for their work in mathematics. Sue Lyons is secretary for a clothing establishment in Chicago. Joyce McKinster and Narcissus Wellman are running a beauty shop waiting for the right man to come along. Larry New is running the High Bottom Drive Inn. Doris Meade was voted Miss Personality of 1964. Sue Merritt is running a funeral home. Thomas Reid i Prichard, who is in charge of a poultry business. Clinton Sawyer is an accountant for a business firm here and Delores Pennington is a secretary at the same es- tablishment. Phyllis Pack has won every Miss America contest since she graduated. Betty Patton is private secretary for Mr. McHarque. Teddy See won just recently the title of Wrestling Champion of the World. J. Lynn See is owner of the Dodge Corporation. Billy Short is working on Moonshine Hill. Lena Precce belongs to the secretarial staff of the state. Christine Preston has three children. The new Super- visor of Home Economics is Frances Wallace. Betty Webb has finished her business course and is a private secretary. Larry Vanhorn has built a trolly from Fallsburg to Louisa because he never can catch the school bus, Joan Williams is happily married. Max Young is Sports Editor of the Blaine Creek Times. Shirley Perkins is a secretary for the President of the music firm in Chicago. 1t's surely be nice to see everybody all together again, don't you think? 16
