This year the Bulldogs were young and inexperienced an did well to finish the seasob at the five hundreg mark with six wins and six losses counting the tournament game. The winning games were with Clifford, Wayne, Webbville and Blaine. As a result of the tournament held here March 5, the winner's trophy was presented by Mr. J. H. Boyd to Webbville, and the runner's up to Blaine. Three of our players, Bobby Stanfill, Buddy Marcum and Charles Priode, were selected on the all tournament team and were awarded gold basketballs. , At the close of the season the following players made up the team: Charles . Priode, MCam. Stone,, Buddy Marcum, Charles Daniels, Charles Haywood, Claude 'wbllmnng Willard Belcher, Uharles Britton, Bobby Stanfilll and Philip Skaggs. Uharles Haywood and Phili Sk co-captains of the Bulldog team. Eggs were elected James Hager, a popular member of t class and one of the L. H. S. basketbalge gggagr sustained a fractured leg in the Wayne-Louisa ggmei Since he has the spirit and fight of an old Bull- dog, we are sure that he will be back next year.
