Club, one of the most important clubs in school, especially during war tide, is en- thusiastically sponsored by Mr. H. Moore. Last year the local club won in the scrap iron drive carried on by the school. The boys bought and distributed more than 4,000 baby chicks. Fifteen pare bred gigs are being distributed among the club members. is summer they are going to establish a canning factory Now they are organizing a co-op to sell products to club members and farmers. More interest is created in the itntellggnnt choice of'fanming .occppattensfand ,the members are encouraged 182 he-debelopment of individual farming programs and in improving their association v with this club. They participate in worthy undertakings and cooperative effort, and are trained for useful citizenship. Scholarship, as well as rural recreat- ional activities, is encouraged. Glik VICE SZ KVE The Girl Reserve Club has been very active ,in the war effort this year, contributing their share to the scrap drive, donating ten dollars to the Red Cross, and in any other way they could.
