The Future Homemakers of America, the national organization of girls studying homemaking in high schools, provides additional information in planning and carrying out activities related to homemaking. The Future Farmers of America's primary purpose is the promotion of agricultural leadership, citizenship, and cooperation. Members of the FFA compete with other mem- bers of the Northern Triangle Federation in crop, forestry, shop, livestock, and dairy judging, public speaking, and tractor driving. Within the school, an annual FFA scholarship is awarded to an outstanding member, and above average members may be listed on the FFA honor roll. The thirty-six member club is independent of, yet linked to, the vocational agriculture program.
