The band under fhe direciion of Mr. Orrin BlaH'ner marched in several parades. They brough+ home many firs+ place awards and rafed high in +he annual Band Fesli- val, held fhis year in Campbell. In addifion fo assemblies, +he band gave a lawn con- cerf which was acclaimed by everyone. The A Cappella Choir is also under +he direc+ion of Mr. BlaH'ner. ln December, fhe choir parficipaled in ihe A Cappella Choir Fesfival a+ fhe Civic Audiiorium in San Jose, where if was raled one of lhe best In February, lwelve members of fhe choir wenf fo fhe Annual Choir and Orchesfra Clinic in Slocldon. The choir has presenled many enioyable assemblies and is regarded as an oufslanding assei fo +he school. Mr. Lundsfrom, our new orchesfra direcior, pu+ our school orchesfra 'lhrough ils paces, crea+ing one of +he Hnesf groups in years.
