What could be a more fullfilling ad venture than an outing with Los Banos Motmtaineers? It's hiking, backpacking, Wilder ness conservation and studying nature. The members discover new' methods of ecology on Weekend backpack trips, and learn how to make the most of nature as a means of survival. The club benefits nature as Well as its members for a compro- mise between man and the Wilderness.

The PHA members keep busy as usual with their cook- ing and sewing. They use the skills learned in this organi- zation to help them become efficient homemakers. The organization's funds go to the welfare and Well-being of others. The profits from the many Rice Crispies sales go towards the buying of knitting yarn for shawls and scarves for the patients in the conva- lescent hospital. It has gained recognition in the community for these wonderful contri- butions .
