ABOVE RIGHT: Mrs. Darlene Lumgair, Creative Fibersfllabrics, Adv. Homemaking, Beg. Homemak- ing. RIGHT: Mrs. Rosita Abriam, Consumer's Homemak- ing, Needlecrafts, Food Services. I-Iomemaking - no, it has nothing to do with architecture. Homemaking, rather, concerns cooking and sewing: creativity for a constructive purpose. What a strang feeling to spend hours preparing a meal, and then watch it be devoured in fifteen minutes! Students learn sewing, too: from stitching a straight seam to advanced 6 needlework and garment making. Recipes, patterns, the latest gossip - all are thoroughly tossed around, examined, and eventually stored away for future refer- ence. They get a lot accomplished! ZMSJGN V45 V4 I6 5901014 23

RIGHT: Mr. Gary Wulbern, Performing Band, Beg. Guitar, A Cappella Choir, Jazz Ensemble. Early morning practices can be gruel- ing, agreed, but bringing home first place trophies sure makes it Worthwhile' With band reviews, jazz festivals, and the Musical, in the fall, our music di- rector certainly earns his keep. BELOW: Mr. Bob Huddleston, Art, Draw. Orienta- tion, Ivlr. Don Lumgair, Ceramics, jewelry. Art is the creative expression of the ages . . . but luckily for artists, people like it now, too. These teachers are the artistic leaders of our school. They supervise all the artistic crea- tivity that goes on here, and even find time to create things themselves. What talent!
