The tumbleweed-littered billboards brought active ses- sions to the Cocciante administration. Fall '59 saw a busy Executive Council push 1 through an active program of intramural sports and brought a running battle against traffic prob- lems on Ethel avenue and billboards on Burbank i boulevard, with full support from the VALLEY STAR. E An express line at the hash house to help students ,v -My S get a quick bite to eat between classes was an- other contribution of the Council. The threatening shadow of resignations hung over the group, as one member after another resigned and a replace- ment had to be appointed.
