The informality and friendliness of the college reduces to a mini- mum the gap between upper and lower class- men. At Valley the student body acts as a whole, with few activities separating it into class groups. Freshman officers are given the task of planning and carrying out the activi- ties of the class. Valley's freshmen are noted for their exuberant spirit of enthusiasm and school support.
