administrative offieers IN MEMORIAM In the death of Dr. Willis M. Kenealy we have experienced a loss for which there is no recompense. For in him were blended qualities of body, mind, and heart that made him incomparable as a servant of the institution and as a friend and colleague. In him was a boundless zest for life-for life in its infinite variety. He belonged to all of us yet to each of us he gave full measure of sincere and loyal friendship. We shall have our memories of him. We shall remember his quietness, his modesty, his refinement of thought and feeling, his intellectual acuteness and integrity, his re- sponsiveness to beauty, his deep concern for human welfare, his abiding faith in the reality of spiritual things, and the ultimate triumph of goodness in the world. He was quick in his sympathies and com- passionate in his iudgments. He liked the free play of ideas, the flash of wit, a good story, and the smile of the mind. He was a lover of truth. He believed that the truth is always good and that all men should try to find it and live by it. We shall miss Willis in all we do. We shall miss him in our conferences, our workshops, our councils, and our dealings with busi- ness and industry. Something will have gone from our midst, for when he left us, he too went down As when a Iordly cedar, green with boughs Goes down with a great shout upon the hills, And leaves a lonesome place against the sky.
