. Yeotmal, Berar, India Dear Yucca Friend:- I-lere we are in India. We have Iesus, three fine schools, two farms, a Work- shop, four Evangelistic teams in our area which is about one-fourth of the India mission area. The unusual has happened this year. I just now baptized one Mohammedan, one head of a vil- lage of high caste called a Patil, one holy man called a Sadhu, and one out- caste man. The Sadhu, has two hun- dred followers, pray that they may all come. How is your faith for souls? Do you feel a certainty that if you pray there, God will hear in lndia? We feel sure it is, so PRAY ON. ln His Loving Service, FLOYD AND EDNA Purrsn. LLI' issioizaries

Uzumbi, Natal, South Africa To the readers of Yucca : To be a good soldier, one needs to learn obedience to higher authority. To be a good general, one needs vision, wisdom, and executive ability. To be a soldier ot lesus Christ, learn obedience to His authority. In His wisdom, and vision, and command there is no mistake. There can be no cowards in either rank,-soldier or general. To be a general in Christ's army, one needs to learn humility, and to be cer- tain to follow orders from headquarters. Respectfully, and in His service, Your missionaries, REV. AND MRS. B. M. ANDERSON. E .V , Z. -1.1. ' I - V V---S -.. . . 3 A -V ,,.. , P' t mf. Qfssuv. Do missions pay? someone has asked. ls it not worthwhile that someone has been saved out of the heathen darkness ot a false religion, that others should find that sweet peace in sins forgiven-those who knew nothing of a loving God and His wonderful power to save? lf we could only see on every mission field the changed lives and shining faces, we would ever keep before us the burning challenge of the missionary work. EVELYN HADSELI..
