Under the direction of Virgil Haley the religi- ous organizations have enjoyed a glorious year in the Lord. Los Angeles Pacific College has been honored this year by having Walter Mac- Arthur as president of the Southern California Student Holiness Association. ilzisferiaf Gfssocivzfiolz The Ministerial Association has had one ot its most successful years. Under the lead- ership of Clarence Soderberg, the Association has been a blessing to the school, and has accomplished much for the Lord. A Week's revival at the Free Methodist Third Church and Sunday services in the Southern California conference have been held. Every other Tuesday night, the Ministerial group has held the mission service at the Ebey Memorial. Free Methodist Church. During the second semester the Ministerial Association had charge of the Tuesday morning chapel services. The young men of the group, who plan to become ministers, spoke in these services, which were a blessing to all that attended. ASHCRAFT REVIVAL The Ashcraft Revival Band, -consisting of all the Christian students, feels that it has ac- complished much this year. A group has gone each Sunday to the County Hospital to visit the patients, giving them scripture verses on attractive cards and speaking to them concerning their spiritual condition. Another division of our Work is the noonday prayer meeting from Which rnany have received spiritual uplift. To be a soldier ot lesus Christ, learn obedience to His authority. In His wisdom, and vision, and command there is no mistake. There can be no cowards in either rank,-soldier or general. Do missions pay? someone has asked. ls it not worthwhile that someone has been saved out of the heathen darkness ot a false religion, that others should find that sweet peace in sins forgiven-those who knew nothing of a loving God and His wonderful power to save? lf we could only see on every mission field the changed lives and shining faces, we would ever keep before us the burning challenge of the missionary work.
