LOUISE HAWES President RUBY TOSH Vice-President RUBY ARCHER Social Chairman MARIORIE DAY Secretary Sap OWLOVZS The College Sophomore class is a group of spirit- ual, joyous young people with high ideals and a love of Christ in their hearts. One of the high-lights of the year was the initiation of the Frosh into the higher schools of learning, and this was climaxed by a party given at the beautiful and interesting home of one of our day students. This party Was followed by many such enjoyable social gatherings, all of which were ably chaperoned by our class advisor, Dean Davis, who takes a great interest in the sophomore class. Perhaps the most interesting experience of this class occurred on the annual skip, when eighteen sophomores left, amid pouring rain, for the snow-clad section of Big Pines. Due to a cloudburst in the moun- tains they Were forced back to San Bernardino. l-lere they were trapped in the raging flood Waters and consequently had the pleasure of being refugees for two 'extra days and nights. At least, they think they had the most original and unique skip days in all school history. -,v .Tn - . - .,.,,1...,l-, .. .N - V , . . . ,,.-4.u4,:': g if ' I 1' S31 ,..., 'ful in elk 15 l 2'Ef1l'i5ggV 3:1 A A A --f- -'---, ' -AW ---. . .1 y.
