Individual perfection, both physical and mental, was the goal sought by the Greeks. The average citizen was a persistent seeker after truth, and was able to debate with the scholars on any subject. The graduate of today, like- wise, should try to develop every latent talent. He should go out from his school determined to strive for all that is best both for himself and his country.
