Actual dissection is preceded by special lectures and demonstrations by the faculty. The dissection is divided into the following parts: head and neck, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and perineum, the upper extremity, the lower extremity. The class is divided into small dissecting groups in order that each student may have the fullest opportunity for indi- vidual dissection. 55
