WEYER Dear Graduates: This class of the Holy Year of 1950, Los Angeles Catholic Girls' High School, Bishop Gonaty Memorial, has a special significance for me. We came to Catholic Girls' High School together, and your class roster will be the first that I am privileged to read as you are presented to our beloved Archbishop to receive your diplomas of graduation. Your fine spirit of leadership, your zealous initiative, and your loyal cooperation have always served as a stimulus in our daily work together. May God continue to bless you and your alma mater. - 2 . Kg .W - Principal jfigufe fo Our jacuhy In saying good-bye, we realize the love and gratitude that fill our hearts as we graduate from our Alma Mater. It is now more than ever that we turn to our teach- ers who have helped quench our thirst for knowledge and who have strengthened our love for Cod. In you, our Priests and our Sisters, we have found the serenity for which the world longs. You have radiated a joy which only those who possess Christ in their souls can bestow. The God-fearing principles which you have injected into our minds will serve as an immunization against the evils which will present them- selves in a materialistic world. Our parents excepted, no others will ever influence us as you have done during our youthful days, for it was a time when we were easily molded - ad fesum per M ariam. Blessed are we to have been led to Cath- olic Girls' High School and into the class- rooms of our devoted Priests and Sisters who have given all that we may receive all. For these blessings and for countless others showered upon us in the past four years, we, the class of Fifty, bow our heads in grateful prayer.
