fn, Traflic Social Problems Alter-game dances, Sadie Hawk- ins, Sweethearts, the Key Club Formal, Homecoming, and Prom were some ofthe regularly sched- uled dances. A computer dance was held forthe Hrst time this year where students were matched scien- tificly. A tremendous interest in drama was shown this year in three sep- arate school productions. Two of them were performed by the Olions, the schoolls drama club. Admireable Crichton and the Sound of Music were spectacularly performed by various members of the student body. Topper Revue, a variety show, includes the three class skits as well as individual per- formances. The end of the school year brought on activities that are asso- ciated with the closing ofschool. The gBeach7 was the scene of many river parties and the ,Iemez Bloun- tains contained picnic parties on the weekends. The entire school year was full ol exciting and different activities. The seniors lived for graduation day and the underclassmen lived for their eventual senior year. All in all, LAHS was a school ol memo- ries for all who attended its 1966- 67 term.

Attempt Los Alamos High School pro- yides its 1,000 plus enrollment of students everything from a superior education to extra-curricular activi- ties and sports ayailable year- round. The school year begins with an assembly the opening day of school when Mr. Joyce introduces the new teachers to the student body. The remainder ofthe first week is like a getting acquainted time when both teachers and incoming sophomores become acquainted with thejuniors and seniors. The sports part of school gets underway the first week after school starts with the opening ol' the football season. This year our exceptional football team encour- aged school spirit by winning all games but two and went on to win the State Class A championship against Anthony-Gadsden, a game played here on Thanksgiving Day. Bomb scares became a common place item in everyday school life this year. Twice the student body was sent home because of telephone calls. The third time students were sent to the gymnasium and only missed an hour ofclass. Dances were as ever popular this year. The numerous types of' dances gave students the opportunity to attend the kind they like most. 6 Direction
