CAMPUS COLORS CHANGE Mrs. Hart's new garden was a delightful change this year on campus. This past summer our school experienced many changes. One change has been the reconstruction of the walkway in front of the main office, In addition to this new area, benches were added to give students a place to sit and study during nutrition and lunch. Another colorful campus change has .4 H 'f ,fff , 7 - . - 4 been the student lockers. Every summer they receive a fresh coat of paint. However, this year they chose a warm, golden shade of tan to welcome all the new students to Los Al. In making these campus chan es, students have shown pride in their school this year. Taking pride in the school throughout the year, motivated students to keep the campus clean and take care of it. The most noticeable change this yea: has been to the Performing Arts Center. These fascinating results have taken all year to achieve, et it was well worth the wait. PIRIT ADDS A SPASH OF COLOR TO LOS A Los Al spirit and comaraderie are apparent in the many academic, service oriented and t-shirt clubs available to students on campus. Friends ather to share similiar interests within a framework best suited for each individual. Los Alamitos High School is unique in flme fact it has so many different organizations to offer a diversified student body. Each organization is required to have an advisor, a constitution, and a reasonable purpose in order to have qualified as a club. Meetings are usually held at lunch or after school to get organized for their upcoming events. Those who are involved this year in Los Al's various clubs understand the never-ending rewards of extra-curricular commitment. Some academic clubs compete for recognition while others dedicate their time in continuing Los Al spirit. The students that volunteer their time to service organizations truly benefit from helping others. Studying is not the only activity for students at Los Al. Socializing allows students to get away from hectic schedules and develop friendships and memories that are irreplaceable. o R? -
