This assembly C ' 1 included the championship gymnastic team, the Omega Drill Team, Colorguard, the song squad, and the award v f winning cheerleaders. The top five nominees for Homecoming Queen were escorted around the ym with their favorite fooavall players. Mr. irresistable, I. I. Cisneros was announced and was escorted by a surprise bunny. CROWNING COLORS Dazzling fireworks spelled out her name as our 1987-88 Homecoming Queen, Laurel Creasy was crowned. The other four candidates looked on in admiration while Laurel was honored by last year's queen, Michelle Mclinden. The an- nouncement was followed by a victory ride around the stadium. After the spec- tacular halftime festivities, the Griffins went on to obtain still another shut-out, their fifth of the season, against Loara. The crowd was very satisfied with another Griffin victory, and a beautiful Homecoming ueen. The Homecom- ing game has awa qs been a very ex- citing time for Los Allstudents and alum- ni to reunite and celebrate. Former Homecomintg Queen, Michelle McLinden takes her arewell ride on the track. Vickie Kuzmich is escorted by her father and herjunior escort, Beth Carlson. Rebecca Hewitt and lendi Saurenman wait patiently for the festivities to begin. Every year the Homecoming Queen is presented with the traditional football, painted by Mrs. Hemphill and signed by theteam. ' ..l 'v
